Paul Klee: maestro de la Bauhaus
This exhibition focused on the period from 1921 to 1931, in which the Swiss artist was lecturing at the Bauhaus, in Weimar and Dessau. It was there that he developed the pedagogical and teaching methods and theoretical and visual research which would subsequently exercise such influence on numerous generations of artists. Paul Klee: maestro de la Bauhaus brought together for the very first time a selection out of the 3,900 manuscript pages with lecture notes that Klee wrote for his classes at the Bauhaus. These handwritten notes were exhibited alongside a selection of more than 100 works of art, comprising paintings, watercolors and drawings executed on paper.
