Archivo Lafuente

On february 5, 1916 Hugo Ball opened Cabaret Voltaire in Zurich, which attracted the attention of the most lively poets and artists of a Europe at war, becoming a myth of the avant-garde. The founders of Dadaism passed on its stage: Hugo Ball, Emmy Hennings, Hans Arp, Tristan Tzara, Marcel Janco, Walter Serner, Richard Huelsenbeck and Sophie Taeuber, among others. «DADA» exhibition shows nearly a hundred documents pertaining to Archivo Lafuente: magazines, books, catalogs, posters, cards and graphic work that help us to follow the activity of different Dadaist groups that were active in Zurich, New York, Berlin, Paris, Cologne, Hannover as well as its dissemination and infiltration in other creative fields.
